One person was shot dead over an old
enmity in Navabad area of Jhansi district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the victim, identified as Devendra, was going somewhere in his car and was stopped by six persons near Sriji hospital, under Navabad police station area, police said.
He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, they said.
The brother of the deceased has lodged an FIR against six persons with whom he had a rivalry, police said, adding, efforts are on to nab the culprits.
