A tribal man and his minor son were murdered allegedly by his own brothers over a land dispute in Jojobeda village under Jagannathpur police station of West Singhbhum district, police today said.
Putkar Kerai and his family members were having meal last night when Putkar's brother Harish rushed in and allegedly poured poison in the meal.
When Putkar resisted, Harish attacked him with a sharp weapon injuring him fatally, police said.
Putkar's wife Mukta and 7-year-old son Deepak ran for safety but Harish and his other brother Juggu caught the boy and allegedly killed him.
Harish was arrested from Kasia jungle while Juggu was reported at large, the police said.
