A man was allegedly stabbed when he went to settle a dispute between his friend and neighbour in east Delhi's Shakarpur area, police said today.
A PCR call was made alleging that some thieves had entered a house in east Delhi's Shakarpur area. When police reached the spot, it was found that a man had been stabbed in the leg with a knife.
Later, it turned out that the incident was a result of a quarrel that had happened on New Year celebrations.

The injured man, identified as Himanshu Tomar (30) has a consultancy firm in Shakarpur. His father is posted in Delhi Police.
Tomar's friend Dinesh Yadav also has an office in Shakarpur.
Himanshu told police that on December 31, Dinesh had an argument with the accused youths who stay in the same building that houses Dinesh's office.
The tiff arose because because the youths were creating nuisance in the building while celebrating New Year's eve.
On January 1, Dinesh along with Himanshu went to the youths' house to sort the issue where one of them attacked Himanshu with a knife, police said.
Himanshu alleged that the attackers had threatened to implicate him in a theft case.
One of the accused has previous criminal involvements and it was his idea to make a PCR call.
