Security personnel today went into a tizzy for a few hours after a man threatened to jump off a multi-storeyed building near Chennai Central railway station here after reportedly being suspended from his job.
The man, an employee of Perambur Loco works, went to the terrace of the high rise around 10.30 AM and demanded that officials revoke the action against him, police said.
When they tried to rescue him, he threatened to jump off the building, they said.
He finally came down after an appeal by his wife and children who were brought to the spot.
