A 32-year-old criminal wanted in a double murder case for the last nine years has been arrested by Mumbai Police's crime branch, an official said on Monday.
The accused, Prakash Avsarkar, had jumped bail in 2011.
During that period, Avsarkar is suspected to have involved in a string of robberies in Mumbai limits.
He was arrested from a temple near suburban Vikhroli station on Sunday.
Avsarkar, who was working for Papya Shaikh gang in 2011, is accused in the murder of Pravin Gondkar and Rachit Patni in Shirdi.
After booked under stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime (MCOC) Act, he jumped the bail.
