Man who duped & murdered a person last year, held

Police arrested a 28-year-old man from Mumbai, for the abduction and murder of a youth last year after duping him of Rs 3 lakh on the pretext of giving him a job, police said today.

Satish Yadav was arrested from Kalyan area of Mumbai by the Delhi police for the murder of one Vikas whom he had promised to provide a job, a senior police officer said.

Satish, who resided in Uttam Nagar area of Delhi, used to cheat job seekers on the pretext of providing them jobs in fire department, SSC and other departments, the officer said.

Om March 10, 2013, after taking Rs 3 lakh from Vikas's father Jai Bhagwan on the pretext of providing Vikas a job at ICAR at Pusa in Delhi, Satish gave Vikas sleeping pills and later murdered him and dumped his body in a field in Dwarka, police said.
 

"The bones of the deceased and one laptop have been recovered. The exhibits are being sent for DNA profiling to identify the deceased," the officer said.
