An employee of a timber firm, who had allegedly fled with Rs 15 lakh of his employer last month, has been arrested, police said today.
Police has also recovered Rs 14.20 from Bajrang Prajapati (38), who had allegedly fled to Rajasthan after siphoning off the amount and was arrested from Sarai Kale Khan ISBT ona specific input.
A case of criminal breach of trust against him was registered on the basis of the employer Sumit Goyal's complaint, who runs the company 'Giriraj Timber Pvt Ltd' out of Mundka area.

"On December 21 last year he had sent Bajrang to his business partner at Govindpuri to collect Rs 15 lakh, who fled with the collected amount," a police officer said.
The accused, hailing from Rajasthan, was working in the company for the last two years, police said adding that he even used to stay at a room provided by the company.
"He fled to Rajasthan with the money. Police conducted several raids at all his possible hide outs but could not find him. Subsequently police could arrest him after tip off was received that he had reached Delhi," police said.
On sustained police interrogation, the accused confessed to have siphoned the amount to pay off debt accumulated by borrowing money to buy a new house and also to cure his wife's illness.
Police said further investigation was in progress.
