A 62-year-old retired government employee and his wife were run over by a truck near Jai Gurudeo Ashram here today, the police said.
The incident took place this afternoon in an area under the Highway police station, they said.
Narendra Shrama, a resident of Omex Colony, and his 58- year-old wife Anju Sharma died on the spot. The truck's driver fled the spot, the police said.
