Man, woman found dead on rail track

Police today recovered the bodies of a man and a woman from rail track at Girdharpur village area and suspect they might have had an affair and committed suicide.

According to police, some villagers of Girdharpur said that two bodies were seen on Delhi-Howrah railway track and a police team, on reaching there, found the bodies which were crushed.

The name Rinku was engraved on the arm of the man Mona and on the arm of the woman.

Investigations show the couple were residents of village Biswana in Bulandshahar.

"Prima facie, it appears that the man was around 22 years old and the woman 21 years. They may have been in love and their families may not have approved their relationship and they may have committed suicide.
 

Some villagers claimed the deceased woman's parents may have pushed both of them before the train.

Police said the matter was being investigated from all possible angles.
