A manager of Punjab Agro and a revenue official were arrested in separate incidents by sleuths of Punjab Vigilance Bureau for allegedly accepting bribe.
In the first incident, Ashok Kumar Garg, District Manager of Punjab Agro, Mohali and Ropar was nabbed on the complaint of Yash Pal Singh Brar, Inspector of Punjab Agro, Chamkaur Sahib, an official spokesperson of the vigilance bureau said.
The complainant alleged that the accused was demanding bribe of Rs 10,000 for filing departmental notice.

In the second case, Sulakhan Singh, Patwari (revenue official), posted at Ropar was caught allegedly while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000, the spokesman said.
Complaint Sukhwinder Singh, resident of village Bharhi in Fatehgarh Sahib, had alleged that Sulakhan was demanding a bribe for division of land, he said.
