Mangalore-Madgaon daily superfast express from Feb 23

Days after announcing new trains in the Railway Budget, Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge will flag-off a new daily superfast intercity express train service between Mangalore Central and Madgaon on February 23.

Kharge would flag-off the inaugural special from Mangalore Central to Madgaon, an official release said.

The regular service of Madgaon-Mangalore Central daily superfast intercity express and its return train would commence the next day.

The train to Mangalore Central would leave Madgaon at 4.15 PM, reach Mangalore Central at 10 PM the same day, while in the return direction, the train would leave Mangalore at 8.15 AM and reach Madgaon at 2 PM the same day.
 

Southern Railway has also announced two new weekly express train service - one between Chennai Central - Nagarsol and another Hatia and Yesvantpur.

Chennai Central-Nagarsol service would be started from March 2 on Sundays at 9.15 AM and reach Nagarsol on Mondays at 11.55 AM.

The train on the return route would leave Nagarsol at 1.30 PM from March 3 on Mondays and arrive Chennai Central at 4.15 PM on Tuesdays.

Another new weekly express train service is being introduced between Hatia and Yesvantpur. The weekly would leave Hatia at 6.15 PM on Saturdays from February 22 and arrive Yesvantpur at 5 AM on Mondays.

The train on the return route would leave Yesvantpur at 12.30 AM on Tuesdays from February 18 and arrive at Hatia at 1.30 PM on Wednesdays.
