Mangoes from Bengal on display in Delhi

As the summer season peaks, the annual "Mango Mela" of West Bengal is here again to provide a tasty and juicy treat to the connoisseurs of the national capital.

The mango festival will showcase delectable mango varieties from Malda, Murshidabad and Bankura districts such as Himsagar, Langra, Gopal Bhog and Laxman Bhog at the Handloom Haat here till June 25.

The initiative is being supported by the departments of food processing industries and horticulture, industry, commerce and enterprises, tourism and information and cultural affairs of West Bengal.

Select handloom and handicrafts from the state will also be on sale at the venue during the period, according to a release.
