The Manipur government today revoked the suspension of five police personnel in connection with a February 14 incident in which members of the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) were allegedly assaulted and verbally abused.
The suspended officers have been reinstated as per the new orders issued by the state government, a top government official said.
The decision to revoke the suspension order came after 20 Congress legislators protested against the same, saying the police personnel were just doing their duty.
