Manipur Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam today urged investors of South East Asian countries to invest in north eastern states of India.
The minister made the request at the inaugural function of the two-day North East ASEAN Business Summit here.
Bangladesh Minister for Chamber of Commerce and Industries Tofail Ahmed said better connectivity would be the main factor for realising the objective of the event.

He said fishes could be exported from Bangladesh to the region at a cheaper rate.
Organised by the state government in association with Indian Chamber of Commerce and International Chamber for Service Industries, over 140 delegates from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines attended the summit.
