National General Secretary of Youth Congress Manish Thakur today replaced Vikramaditya Singh, the son of former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, as state's Youth Congress president.

Thakur, who hails from the Rohru sub-division of Shimla district, was made the working president of the Youth Congress yesterday by All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi and the notification was issued by India Youth Congress (IYC) President Amrinder Singh Raja.

He was elevated to the post of Youth Congress general secretary in 2009.
