Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has won her battle against cancer disease after being under treatment for nearly six months in the US.
The 42-year-old actress was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year and was undergoing treatment in New York.
"I burst out crying when I heard cancer free. I still have long way to go for regaining my health, slowly and steadily with your prayers and blessings that I received during this phase I am sure that day too will come," Koirala posted on Facebook.

"In gratitude for the compassion I saw, felt from my old and new friends, my family, my cancer club members, who inspired me with their spirit, my ammabhagwan and oneness family and you all my facebook and twitter friends it is your unyielding love that helped me. I call this as my 'rebirth'," she said.
Born in Nepal, Manisha made her Bollywood debut with 'Saudagar' in 1991 and went on to star in successful films like '1942: A Love Story', 'Agni Sakshi', 'Bombay', 'Khamoshi: The Musical' and 'Company.' Her last release was Ram Gopal Varma's 'Bhoot Returns'.
