Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to translate into action what he had said in the United Nations General Assembly.

"Our PM makes impressive speech, but it must be implemented and translated into action," he told reporters in reply to a question.

"Mere speech does not solve problems," Manjhi said and urged the Prime Minister to translate into action his commitment to foster good relations with neighbouring countries.

Modi must translate his speech into action to deal with neighbouring countries to sort out long standing problems with them, the Chief Minister said referring to incursions by China into Indian territory and uneasy relations with Pakistan.

Manjhi lauded the Prime Minister for his commitment to improve sanitation, cleanliness and related problems and said these issues too warrant implementation on the ground.
