Mankekar buys 6.50 lakh shares of Financial Technologies

This is the second time in nearly a week that Mankekar has acquired shares of the company

Well-known investor Laxmi Shivanand Mankekar today acquired 6.50 lakh shares in Jignesh Shah-led Financial Technologies in a transaction worth Rs 24.7 crore through open market route.

According to block deal information with the BSE, Mankekar purchased the shares from Om Kedar Investments.

The scrips of Financial Technologies (India) Ltd were bought at an average price of Rs 380 apiece, amounting the transaction to Rs 24.7 crore.

This is the second time in nearly a week that Mankekar has acquired shares of Financial Technologies.

The investor on March 13 picked up 7 lakh scrips of Financial Technologies for Rs 27.23 crore from Om Kedar Investments.
 

Mankekar and his family have shares in many Indian companies, including M T Educare.

Financial Technologies shares settled the day at Rs 375.75 apiece, down 0.84 per cent from the previous close.
