'Manthan', a television series on science, will now be telecast in regional languages following an agreement between Prasar Bharti and German broadcaster Deutsche Welle here today.
It was one of the three joint understandings signed today by Prasar Bharti, India's public service broadcaster, with Deutsche Welle for future programming under an existing 2011 memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The other agreements, aimed at providing interesting and fresh content for Indian audiences on Doordashan, include co- production of DW's award-winning show Euromaxx in Hindi and for telecast of sports programmes from Transtel.
