Teen sensations Manu Bhaker and Anmol Jain claimed the gold medal in mixed 10m air pistol team competition, ending on rousing note India's successful campaign in the 28th Meeting of Shooting Hopes international competition in Plzen, Czech Republic today.
Having topped qualification with a score of 763, the duo of Bhaker and Jain shot 476.9 to finish ahead of another Indian pair of Devanshi Rana and Saurabh Chaudhary by 1.2 point.
In the mixed 10m air rifle team competition, the Indian teams -- Shreya Agrawal and Hriday Hazarika (496.5) and Elavenil Valarivan and Divyansh Singh Panwar (433.9) -- won the silver and bronze medals respectively. Sofia Benetti and Marco Suppini of Italy (497.0) bagged the gold in the event.
The Indians finished the tournament with 11 gold, seven silver and six bronze medals.
Bhaker had won four gold in the prestigious annual tournament, including one in the individual 10m air pistol event.
In the 50m men's junior pistol event, Arjun Singh Cheema (563), Anmol (554) and Vijayveer Sidhu (553) occupied the top three places.
