Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) president Babulal Marandi today said his party was making efforts to bring all small parties on a single platform to contest the forthcoming assembly elections in alliance.

"We are making efforts to bring all the small parties on one platform ahead of the assembly elections, and I believe we will be successful in our efforts," Marandi told reporters here.

Stating that his party has no reservation in contesting along with small parties, the former chief minister added his party was in touch with the leaders of such parties.

He claimed that former chief minister Madhu Koda's Jai Bharat Samanta Party, Trinamool Congress leader Bandhu Tirkey, Jharkhand Party MLA Anosh Ekka and former minister and Naujawan Shangharsh Morcha leader Bhanu Pratap Sahi had contacted him in this regard.

"We are pondering over an alliance with all these parties to contest the assembly elections," Marandi added.
