Noted Marathi writer Pravin Davane today said the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sameelan (literary meet) should not be restricted only to shows and glamour but should benefit the literature lovers.
Davane is contesting for the President's position of the 90th literary meet, which is being held in Dombivili in the district between February 3 and 5.
"There is quest for writing from remotest regions of Maharashtra and good writing by youngsters needs to be protected and encouraged," the writer told reporters here.
