Una in Shivalik foot hills was hottest in the region with maximum temperature at 41.4 degree Celsius, while Sundernagar recorded a high of 38.3 deg C, followed by Nahan 37 deg C, Bhuntar 35.4 deg C and Dharamsala 34.4 deg C.
The state capital Shimla recorded maximum 28.6 deg C.
