Marginal rise in temperature in Bihar

Temperature rose marginally across Bihar as rains receded today but major towns of the state continued to face waterlogging owing to previous downpours.

Patna recorded only 1 mm rain today, state Met office bulletin said.

Gaya received 0.2 mm of rainfall while Bhagalpur recorded 52.9 mm rain and Purnea 18 mm.

Maximum temperature in Patna climbed marginally to 30.8 degree celsius.

The maximum temperature in Gaya was 32.5 degree Celsius, while it was 31 degree Celsius and 31.8 degree in Bhagalpur and Purnea respectively.

The state Weather office forecast generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershower tomorrow in the state.
 

Due to intermittent rains in past few days, many areas of Patna continue to face waterlogging problem.

Waterlogging also created problems for citizens in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur too.
