Actor Margot Robbie said she is a little unnerved about her look from the forthcoming film "I, Tonya" being the centre of attraction in the press.

The 27-year-old actor, who essays the role of ice skater Tonya Harding in biographical drama, is not too impressed with people discussing her physical transformation for the part, reported Wonderland.

"All the reading, all the acting coaching, and then someone reviews the movie or interviews you and all they do is focus on the aesthetics. You think '... You've totally discredited the work I did and it's not fair'.

"Ironically Tonya wasn't unattractive, she's just been marred with that story. The worse I looked the happier people were," Robbie said.

The actor, who shot to fame following her appearance in "The Wolf of Wall Street", also said that her self-esteem hit a low when she was asked to portray Jordan Belfort's wife Naomi, a character which was described as "the hottest blonde ever" in the script.

"When I was playing Naomi in 'The Wolf of Wolf Street' it was so high-tempo sexy. I was acutely aware that the line in the screenplay was 'the hottest blonde ever', I'm clearly not the hottest blonde ever. I was just terrified that people would see the movie and think 'eugh! She's not that great'," she said.
