Pop star Mariah Carey has announced she would be doing a residency show at Caesar's Palace in the Sin City.
The show, 'Mariah Carey 1s', will be launched on May 6, and then run till May 26th.
"I'm going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesar's. This is a special event for me," she said on on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show'.
Carey, 44, is booked to fill in for Celine Dion, who has put her own show on hold to care for her ill husband, Rene Angelil.
The show will also serve as companion to the mother of two's upcoming compilation album.
"I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this 'cause I'm gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album '#1's' and this is now the updated version with 18 of them," she said.
