Shares of FMCG firm Marico Ltd today rose more than 2 per cent after the company reported a 27.44 per cent increase in consolidated net profit for the September quarter.
The firm's scrip went up 2.16 per cent to settle at Rs 399.25 on BSE. During the day, it gained 3.9 per cent to Rs 381.20.
At NSE, shares of the company rose 2.27 per cent to Rs 399.40.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 118.26 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Marico's net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,483.53 crore, up 3.80 against net profit of Rs 1,429.14 crore in the corresponding period of previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.
