"Invincible" star Mark Wahlberg opened up about his troubled teenage life, saying he was charged with assault and attempt to murder at the age of 17.
The 41-year-old said that being jailed at that age was a "sobering" moment and he turned to his local priest to help get his life back on track, reported Femalefirst.
"There were moments where I knew I needed to get on the right course. As a 17-year-old adolescent going to jail, that's a very sobering moment. I knew I needed to change my life, but when you decide to change your life then actually doing it, that becomes a very challenging and uphill battle that you need to take on a day-to-day basis," he said.
Wahlberg also battled drug addiction and first tried cocaine at the age of 13.
