Just a few days before Maroon 5's V officially arrives, a new cut off the album surfaced online.
Titled 'My Heart Is Open', the track features the band's frontman Adam Levine sharing vocal duties with Gwen Stefani, reported Ace Showbiz.
Australian singer-songwriter Sia Furler co-wrote the gorgeous slow-tempo ballad that opens with Levine asking his duet partner to take a chance on him.
"I know you're scared, I can feel it. It's in the air, I know you feel that too. But take a chance on me. You won't regret it, no," he croons over the piano.
Stefani then emerges to declare, "It won't take me long to find another lover/ But I want you."
Maroon 5's V album is coming out on September 2 via Interscope. The group's fifth studio effort has spawned lead single 'Maps' that has so far peaked at number six on Billboard Hot 100.
