The woman, a resident of Dadri, was married to man in Bulandshahar a year ago. Two months ago, she had come to her parents house here as her mother was ill and hospitalised.

A woman from the neighbourhood came on the pretext of going to the hospital and took her with her. She also took Rs.50,000 and told the victim that she may need money to pay at the hospital.

The neighbourhood woman took her to her room and gave sweet mixed with sedatives. She fell unconscious.

The victim alleged the neighbourhood woman sold her for Rs.80,000 to an Aligarh man who raped her for two months.

She further alleged that another man who used to come there too had sexually assaulted her. They used to keep her locked in a room and used to threaten her to kill if she raised an alarm.

The victim's relatives lodged a missing person report at the police station. On December 31, she managed to call her relatives who then reached Aligarh along with policemen.
