Married woman alleges rape by three youths

A 28-year-old married woman has alleged that she was raped by three youths at Narwana city in the district.

As per the complaint filed by the victim, the incident took place last evening when the woman, a resident of Alipura village was going to the city to buy medicine, DSP Jind, Mamata Saudha said.

The victim said that Krishna, a youth from her village joined her at the bus stand and convinced her to go together till Narwana, police said.

When they were at Uchana area, Krishna called someone and soon a car arrived at the spot.

Krishna told the woman that the vehicle belonged to his friend and they too were going towards the city, Saudha said.
 

After reaching Narwana, Krishna along with the duo in the car took her to a secluded place and raped her, she said.

They also threatened the vitim of dire consequence if she reported the incident to anyone, DSP said.

However, she brought the matter to the notice of her husband, who arrived at the spot and took her to police station.

A case was registered against the trio at the women police station here, Saudha said, adding the matter was being investigated.
