A 32-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide this morning by jumping from her seventh floor apartment at a residential complex in the Vijay Nagar area here, police said.
The deceased, identified as Ruby, was a mother of two children and lived with her family in Crossing Republic Society in Vijay Nagar.
She allegedly jumped off her flat at around 10.30 A.M. when she was alone at home after her children went to school and husband left for work. She was reportedly suffering from depression, police added.
When security guards rushed to the spot upon hearing a thud, they found the woman lying in a pool of blood. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
