A 30-year-old married woman has accused an old acquaintance of allegedly raping her on several occasions here.
As per the complaint filed by the victim, she was in a relationship with the accused at the age of 16 years and later married another man, ASI Alpana said.
The accused reportedly threatened the victim with an earlier footage of their intercourse and forced himself on the woman on several occasions, she said.
The accused also told the victim that he would show the footage to her husband if she did not heed to his advances, police said.
A case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of IPC yesterday and efforts are on to nab him, they added.
