Liam Neeson dropped 20 pounds to play a Jesuit missionary in director Martin Scorsese's historical drama "Silence".
Talking about Scorsese at the Los Cabos Film Festival, Neeson said, "Martin requires a lot of commitment."
The actor said besides his 20 pound weight loss, his co-stars Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield too had to lose weight, reported Variety.
Scorsese gives 200 per cent, said Neeson, adding, "All he requires is that you give 100 per cent. He's intimidating. He requires absolute silence on the set - if he hears one tiny sound, it shatters it for him.
