Marvel Television is all set to bring comic book property "New Warriors" to the small screen.

The comic book giants have announced yet another show after "Cloak & Dagger" that will be adapted for TV with the help of cable channel Freeform, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This will be the studio's first-ever live-action comedy that will revolve around six young people with powers, out of which one of the heroes, Squirrel Girl (Doreen Green) has been revealed so far.

Marvel's head of television, and the show's executive producer, Jeph Loeb said, "'Marvel's New Warriors' have always been fan favourites and now particularly with the addition of Squirrel Girl, they are Marvel Television favourites as well."

"Cougar Town" fame Kevin Biegel has almost been roped in for a deal with Marvel to pen the script and serve as showrunner.

The show will air on Freeform in 2018 in 10 episodes at 30-minutes each.
