The two-day Marwari Horse Show-2015 will begin here on February 21.

The show, aimed at promotion and recognition of one of the most elegant horse breeds, is being organised under the joint aegis of All India Marwari Horse Society (AIMHS) and the Marwari Horse Book Registration Society of India.

To be held under the patronage of erstwhile ruler of Marwar Gaj Singh II, the event will see participation of all horses registered with Marwari Horse Book Registration Society.

AIMHS secretary Umaid Singh said this breed of horse is recognised for its beauty, elegance and faithfulness.

"The objective of this show is to exhibit these horses, which has a huge demand in international market," he said.

Show Coordinator Narayan Singh Manaklav, a former Rajya Sabha MP, said the show will have competitions spread across seven categories and the best horses will get special trophy.
