The 41-year-old 'I'm Goin' Down' hitmaker said that she is in the early stages of creating her own clothing brand, reported Daily Star online.
Blige earlier sported her clothing sense when she collaborated with French designer, Catherine Malandrino, in a collection of charity T-shirts.
The singer said that she will begin with designing shoes and boots, and later wishes to release 'great-fitting jeans'.
She also has a perfume line and a range of her own sunglasses called Melodies by MJB.
