A doctor along with his family was kidnapped from Bahsuma area by four masked persons who fled with their car, police said today.
The couple - Kamlesh and Lakshmi - from Madhavpuram and their daughters - Komal and Sanjana - were travelling to Meerut from Bahsuma when they were kidnapped on Bahsuma-Chhota Mawana bypass road by the four last night, SSP DK Dubey said.
Dubey said the kidnappers, who had come in a white car, overtook the couple's vehicle and kidnapped the family by flashing weapons.
Their cries for help were heard by some persons on the road who informed the police following which check points were set up, Dubey said.
The kidnappers left the couple and their children on the roadside in a jungle and fled away with the car, the SSP said.
He said the kidnappers have been identified and will be nabbed soon, he said.
