Prices of masoor and gram gained up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following pick-up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts.
However, urad its dal eased due to adequate stocks on higher supplies.
Traders said pick-up in demand from retailers amid fall in supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in masoor and gram prices.

Its dal local and best quality rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,200-6,300 and Rs 6,300-6,400 per quintal, respectively.
Gram edged up to Rs 3,575-4,200 from previous level of Rs 3,550-4,150 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,850-4,050 and Rs 3,950-4,250 per quintal.
On the other hand, urad and its dal prices eased by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,950-6,400 and Rs 6,950-7,150 per quintal. Urad dal best quality and dhoya enquired lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,100-7,700 and Rs 7,500-7,900 per quintal, respectively.
