Prices of masoor and malka rose up to Rs 250 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased demand from retailers against limited arrivals from producing belts.
Marketmen said increased demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in masoor and malka prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold rose by Rs 250 each to Rs 6,500-6,700 and Rs 6,500-6,800 per quintal, respectively.

Malka local and best quality were also in demand and gained Rs 100 each to Rs 7,800-8,000 and Rs 8,000-8,100 per quintal.
