Masoor, malka trade higher on tight supply

The wholesale pulses market ended higher today as prices of masoor and malka rose by Rs 100 per quintal following restricted supplies from producing regions against increased demand.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,300-4,550 and Rs 4,500-4,600 and its dal local and best quality traded higher by similar margin to Rs 5,150-5,250 and Rs 5,250-5,350 per quintal, respectively.

Malka local and best quality followed suit and enquired higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,900-5,000 and Rs 5,100-5,200 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's pulses rates per quintal:

Urad 3,900-4,700, Urad Chilka (local) 5,400-5,600, best 5,650-6,250, Dhoya 5,950-6,350, Moong 6,200-7,400, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,300-7,700, Moong Dhoya local 7,300-7,400 and best quality 7,900-8,000.
 

Masoor small 4,300-4,550, bold 4,500-4,600, Dal Masoor local 5,150-5,250, best quality 5,250-5,350, Malka local 4,900-5,000, best 5,100-5,200, Moth 4,700-5,000, Arhar 4,250-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara 5,800-6,000.

Gram 2,825-3,525, Gram Dal (local) 3,625-3,825, best quality 3,775-3,875, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,350, Rajdhani 1,350, Rajmah Chitra 7,200-10,700, Kabli Gram small 3,900-5,900, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100.
