A spiritual organisation today held collective meditation along the banks of the Ganga river here to usher in the spring season.
Highlighting the significance of group meditation along the shores of the river, Gayatri Parivar chief Shaila Jiji said the "practise is ancient and highly effective in invoking the divine in times of crises."
The organisation with global presence has decided to observe the year 2014 as 'Samooh Sadhna Varsha' (collective meditation year) by holding similar spiritual programmes at different places.
