The Kolkata-based West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, of which Justice Ashok Kumar Ganguly is a honorary professor today said if a complaint on the charges levelled by the intern was placed before its executive council the matter would be taken up.
"The executive council will consider if any of its members raise the issue. The intern has so far not filed any complaint. The executive council will decide on the issue when any complaint is filed and it will be done according to law," its Vice-Chancellor P Ishwara Bhat told PTI.
"Any removal of a honorary professor appointed by the executive council can be done by the executive council only after following certain procedures," he said.

The intern was a student of the university.
Ganguly, who retired from the Supreme Court more than a year ago, was accused by the law intern of sexually harassing her in a hotel room in Delhi last year.
The judge has denied the allegations.
