Max & Min temperatures to rise in Bihar: MeT

The Met department today predicted a gradual rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures in Bihar in next two to three days as people across the state, including the state capital, witnessed a sunny day.

The state may witness a gradual increase in both maximum and minimum temperatures in days to come because of the season change, a Met official said, adding, that the increase in temperature is quite normal and it is witnessed after Sarswati puja every year.

As per the MeT bulletin, among the major cities Bhagalpur registered a highest minimum temperature of 10.7 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 7.6 degrees Celsius. Patna recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees Celsius, followed by 9.3 degrees Celsius at Gaya and 8.7 degrees Celsius at Purnea.
 

The maximum temperature recorded in Patna was 23.1 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was above 24 degrees Celsius in Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.

The Met office has said that the maximum temperatures in four major aforementioned cities is expected to be around 24-25 degrees Celsius tomorrow while the minimum temperatures would be 10 degrees Celsius in Patna, Gaya and Purnea.

Bhagalpur may witness a minimum tempreature of 12 degree Celsius.

In its forecast, the Met bulletin also said that Patna and Gaya may witness fog or mist in the morning and mainly clear sky later while Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness shallow fog in the morning.
