Union Territory Chandigarh recorded a maximum temperature of 33.8 degrees Celsius, up one notch against normal limits, the MeT Department report said here.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a maximum of 35 degrees Celsius, up one notch against normal, while Karnal's maximum settled at 33 degrees Celsius.

The MeT has forecast possibility of rain or thunder showers at a few places in both the states, including Chandigarh over the next two days.
