Maximum temperature drops to 35 degrees C, dust storms likely

There was some respite from heat today for Delhi as mercury dipped to 35 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.

The weather was pleasant than usual. The minimum temperature was recorded a notch below normal at 22.8 degrees Celsius, said MeT department officials.

The humidity in air oscillated between 69 and 46 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy skies with possibility of thunder storms and dust storms.

"The skies will be partly cloudy. Dust storms or thunder storms could occur in some parts.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 37 and 22 degrees respectively," a MeT department official said.
 

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum were recorded at 37.1 degrees Celsius and 22.2 degrees Celsius.
