Maximum temperature hovers below normal across Pb, Haryana

The maximum temperatures in Punjab and Haryana today hovered below the normal limits across.

Amritsar recorded its maximum at 30.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.

Ludhiana and Patiala registered their maximum temperatures at 31.7 and 31.3 degrees Celsius, the MeT Department said here.

Chandigarh recorded a high of 30 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal.

The mercury in Ambala settled at 31.3 degrees Celsius and 34.2 degrees Celsius in Hisar, it said.

Weather is likely to remain dry in the two states for the next few days, the weatherman said.
