Maximum temperatures hover below normal in Pb, Haryana

Maximum temperatures today hovered below normal levels at most places in Punjab and Haryana.

The Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded maximum at 30 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, according to a MeT department report today.

In Punjab, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala had maximum of 30.4, 30 and 29.7 degrees Celsius respectively.

In neighbouring Haryana, Ambala recorded maximum at 29.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, while Hisar, Karnal and Narnaul had high of 31.6, 29.5 and 32.5 degrees Celsius respectively.

The MeT department has predicted dry weather conditions in Punjab and Haryana in the next 24 hours.
