Mazdoor Kissan Vikas Party files first nomination for Jammu

Aam Mazdoor Kissan Vikas Party leader Vijay Kumar today filed the first nomination paper from the Jammu parliamentary constituency for the Lok Sabha polls.

Returning Officer 6-Jammu Parliamentary Constituency Ajeet Kumar Sahu today received a nomination filed by Vijay Kumar, Independent (Aam Mazdoor Kissan Vikas Party), according to an official release.

On March 15, the election authority issued notification for the filing of nominations by the candidates contesting from the Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, which goes to polls on April 10.

"The nomination papers may be delivered by a candidate or any of his proposer to the Returning Officer (Deputy Commissioner), Jammu, or to Assistant Returning Officer (Additional District Development Commissioner), Jammu, at DC office in Jammu between 1100 hours to 1500 hours on any day not later than March 22, 2014 till 3 PM," Sahu had said.
 

The scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on March 24 while the candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 26.
