The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has sent show cause notices to batsmen Suryakumar Yadav and Sarfaraz Khan for their alleged misconduct.
"The Managing Committee decided to issue the show cause notice to these two players and sought their explanation. Surya had a run-in with a Mumbai fast bowler, while Sarfaraz showed an indecent gesture in a match," MCA secretary Nitin Dalal told PTI.
Yadav, 24, was the Mumbai skipper during the start of the season but had quit mid-way following a huge defeat against Tamil Nadu.
